A nicely engraved 54 bore Beaumont Adams percussion revolver.
The right frame of this London proofed revolver is marked Adams’ Patent No. 40,867. The Cylinder is also marked No. 40.867 and the loading lever hammer, inside grip and inside frame all marked 827.
The top strap is engraved “Robert Adams. No.76 King William Street, London”
This is a very late Beaumont Adams revolver made in the mid 1860's after Adams had left the London Armoury Company.
